1# Visitors to Canada - line graph



This line graph shows the numbers of Japanese and Spanish visitors coming from Canada in 1996 to 2006. This line graph shows locutions to visitors over 10 years.

   
  Starting in 1996 , there was a significant difference in the number of visitors from Spain to Canada. There were almost 300,000 Spanish visitors , compared to 850,000 Japanese visitors. The number of Spanish visitors to Canada in 1999 was higher at about 650000, but the Japanese was remain. Also , the numbers of Japanese was down in 2004 to about 590,000 but the Spain remained steady to higher. In 2006 the Spanish and Japanese visitors wew almost the same.


    In conclusion , the number of Japanese visitors Canada in 1996 to 2006 was more than Spanish during these years. And the number of visitors from Spain increased every year. However , the number of visitors from Japan increased then decreased.

2# Websites block - argument


   In the UAE , some websites are closed because of the religion and some websites show some bad things. This essay will examine the pros and cons of Etisalat blacking internet access to website.

  There are several arguments in favors of blocking internet access to websites. The first argument are the traditions of the state. The second argument is that some sites offer some policy matters that could affect the country relations with other countries and problem in the country. The last thing some websites are published by hackers with viruses because that must be blocked.

 However, there are many convincing arguments against blocking websites. The first point is the some people don’t have good behavior. The second point is that some websites damage the country and came some problem. The last point is some people love to publish some bad ideas and talk about some countries.

In conclusion , Etisalat did a good thing because in UAE there are some habits that nobody should have. And most children have laptop , so we must block some web sites.

3#Examinations at HCT - argument


In all colleges and Universities use Examinations. Some students don’t reading the benefit of the exams. They think exams are wasting time. This essay will explain both side of using exams.

   There are many reason why exam are good for the students and college. The first reason is that teacher can know level of the students. The second reason for testing it is a good way to determine what students have learned in the course. The last reason is exams will encourage students to work harder and will give the good feedback on their understanding of the subject.

    However, there are many convincing arguments against exams. The first point is students have too much subjects. For example, students can’t study very well for all subjects. The second point is that some exams are poorly written and are culturally biased against non-western students. For example, some exams written by western teachers for a western are biased and non-westerners will score lower due to this bins, the last point is some students have a fear of exams so they don’t do their best.

         In conclusion, the seams have two sides positive and negative side. In my opinion exam are good for students because it’s help them to improve their skills.

4#Personal Reflection


    I study in Abu Dhabi Means College, I learn in college many thing. The important point I benefit from my English course .In this essay  I going to write about the reading , writing and listening in this term and what these skills help me.


   This course was so hard for me because that I needed to study hard. During the course am doing more exercise and the teacher gave us more exercise because of that I improved. Now I can write better than before. However in the reading I can answer questions more than before. Moreover the teacher good and help all to give good mark. Now I happy because am pass in this course and the English course help me improve in another subject.


  In conclusion , I learned many things in this course and I increased my English language. My opinion if you study hard and do some practice you will benefit in your life

5#The Accident in UAE - Argument


  Today the accidents in the UAE have increased, because some people drive angry, too much cars, speeding and women drivers. This problem requires serious action from both individuals and the government. In this essay I will write about causes and solution about this problem.

   Most people drive angry, because want to go home or jobs early. The some people like speeding, but the speed is dangers  and a cause of accidents. The increase in the cars in street is the big problem, because the car cases the traffic. The last problem is the women drivers, some women can’t drive will and are afraid during  driving, because that cause the accidents.

   There are several things that can be done about these problems. The first thing must renewal the rule. The second thing the parents must advise the children. The third thing is that to open new streets in the cites.

   In conclusion, there are several  things that can be done about the accidents and traffic. The government helps the people through good roods and rules to reduce accidents.

6#Working to Dubai - line graph


    The graph shows changes in the numbers of workers coming to Dubai between 1990 to 2006 . Overall the number of workers increased from UK and Canada.

    The workers coming from the UK are higher than from Canada by 50 thousand , in 1990 and increased in 1994 to 70 thousand. The workers from Canada started lower in 1990 and increase to 15000 in 1992. The biggest change in the graph from Canada was from 1992 to 2002 to about 90 thousand. There the a big decrease in UK workers from 1993 to 2000 by about 10 thousand workers but the workers from UK increased from 2000 to 2006 about 90 thousand. And Canada decrease in 2002 to 2004 by about 10 thousand , but increased in 2006 by about 90 thousand.

     In conclusion , the number of workers from UK and Canada in last 16 years increased. And both kept rising.
